Product Designer (Hardware & 3D CAD) – Remote | Premium Kitchen Brand

Role Overview
We are seeking a creative, hands-on Product Designer to transform ideas into tangible, market-ready physical products.
You will collaborate directly with the founder to develop new hardware concepts and convert them into detailed 3D CAD models ready for factory engineering and production.
This position focuses purely on physical product design — including form, usability, function, and proportions — and does not involve graphic design, UI, or software work.
Key Responsibilities

Develop precise 3D CAD models of physical products (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Onshape, or similar)

Convert early concepts and sketches into refined, production-ready designs

Rapidly iterate on form, structure, and product details based on feedback

Prepare STEP files and essential technical drawings for factory handover

Work closely with the founder throughout the product development process
Required Qualifications

Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Onshape, or equivalent)

Proven experience designing physical hardware products

Strong understanding of industrial design principles, proportions, and usability

Ability to work efficiently and iterate quickly

Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing consumer products

Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as sheet metal fabrication, plastics, and assemblies
