We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer with strong experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our expanding team. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding the organization’s cloud infrastructure and ensuring the security of our information systems.

You will collaborate with a team responsible for designing and maintaining resilient, secure cloud environments that proactively defend against emerging security threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, resilient cloud infrastructure architectures

• Develop, evaluate, and enhance cloud security solutions for systems, databases, and networks

• Conduct security assessments and recommend appropriate controls

• Monitor logs, analyze security events, and perform vulnerability assessments

• Contribute to the development of company-wide cloud security policies, standards, and procedures

• Prepare security reports for both technical and managerial stakeholders

• Implement and test disaster recovery and network security procedures to ensure business continuity

• Monitor access to sensitive data and enforce strict access controls

• Ensure data confidentiality and integrity during storage, processing, and transmission

• Investigate security policy violations and recommend corrective actions

• Provide technical support for network and security-related issues

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Information Security or a related discipline

• At least 1 year of professional experience in Information Security, with a strong focus on Cloud Security

• Advanced technical expertise in AWS (experience with Azure or Oracle Cloud is an advantage)

• Hands-on experience with AWS services including IAM, Organizations, SSO, VPC, Transit Gateway, S3, EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudTrail, Config, Inspector, GuardDuty, and WAF

• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure threats and best practices for securing cloud environments

• Experience with DevSecOps methodologies (preferred)

• Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform (preferred)

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
