Cloud Security Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer with strong experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our expanding team. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding the organization’s cloud infrastructure and ensuring the security of our information systems.
You will collaborate with a team responsible for designing and maintaining resilient, secure cloud environments that proactively defend against emerging security threats.
Key Responsibilities

Design and implement secure, resilient cloud infrastructure architectures

Develop, evaluate, and enhance cloud security solutions for systems, databases, and networks

Conduct security assessments and recommend appropriate controls

Monitor logs, analyze security events, and perform vulnerability assessments

Contribute to the development of company-wide cloud security policies, standards, and procedures

Prepare security reports for both technical and managerial stakeholders

Implement and test disaster recovery and network security procedures to ensure business continuity

Monitor access to sensitive data and enforce strict access controls

Ensure data confidentiality and integrity during storage, processing, and transmission

Investigate security policy violations and recommend corrective actions

Provide technical support for network and security-related issues
Requirements
-
BSc or MSc in Information Security or a related discipline

At least 1 year of professional experience in Information Security, with a strong focus on Cloud Security

Advanced technical expertise in AWS (experience with Azure or Oracle Cloud is an advantage)

Hands-on experience with AWS services including IAM, Organizations, SSO, VPC, Transit Gateway, S3, EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudTrail, Config, Inspector, GuardDuty, and WAF

Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure threats and best practices for securing cloud environments

Experience with DevSecOps methodologies (preferred)

Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform (preferred)
