Senior Litigation Claims Manager – Texas (Remote)
Apollo MGA specializes in non-standard Personal Automobile Insurance distributed through Independent Agents across the State of Texas.
This is a remote position; however, we will only consider candidates who currently reside in Texas.
The Litigation Manager is responsible for overseeing claims that are in active litigation or require legal counsel involvement. This role provides leadership to litigation adjusters, manages relationships with defense counsel, ensures compliance with all legal deadlines, controls legal expenses, and drives effective claim resolution strategies.
Requirements

Minimum of 10 years’ experience handling attorney-represented Bodily Injury (BI) and Property Damage (PD) claims

5–7 years of litigation management experience

Active Texas license
-
Ability to obtain additional state licenses if required

Willingness to travel within Texas occasionally based on business needs
Key Responsibilities

Supervise a team of five Litigation Adjusters, including diary oversight, authority approvals, and strategic discussions

Maintain and monitor diary entries for each assigned litigation file

Review and process subpoenas

Review incoming lawsuits and assign new cases appropriately

Monitor files for service of process and requests for defense, including tracking motions for default judgment

Provide support to other units as needed

Manage defense counsel relationships and performance

Oversee and control legal expenses

Prepare detailed reports on trial activity, extra-contractual exposure, and other litigation-related matters as required
